I'd like to hear readers reactions after reading "Piepho travels to Washington to ask for funds." What do you think?

Applause to Natalie O'Neill!

As Alamo humorously wondered what the supervisors could accomplish in Washington DC, as DAZE in the Capital, a TOUR of Lobbies, there was significant local interest in what the supervisors might request on our behalf. The history of the past two years illustrates that CCC-BOS has been at-odds with Contra Costa communities' will, interests and advisory.

By knowing what was said, Alamo residents now have the opportunity to express support or opposition to the supervisors' requests directly to our Senators and US Representative: address comments to Erik.Ridley@mail.house.gov.

Thanks to The Danville Weekly, Alamo has immediate regional coverage of important events and actions impacting our community.
