Why is Danville spending precious money on a study of police services? We can get rid of the Sheriff's contract service and save an immediate 30 percent on law enforcement costs. If that sounds like a no-brainer, it is.
Just look next door at San Ramon - they have their own officers and are saving a fortune.
The "get a consultant" mentality never ceases to frost me. Why don't our elected leaders do the job they were elected to do and MAKE SOME DECISIONS without running with quivering lips to Mother Consultant?
