Last year children from Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos orphanage in Nicaragua came to perform their music at the Father Frank's Kids Fiesta at St. Isidore's Church, and Sabrina's family hosted two of the children. They visited the home of the San Francisco Giants, which the visitors said was the highlight of their trip. They said they yearned to play the sport but did not have any equipment. Sabrina, along with the Oswald family, set out to collect equipment from Little Leagues and schools, and gathered enough to create two complete teams at orphanages in El Salvador and Nicaragua.
They will continue to ship youth baseball equipment. To make a donation, call 216-1828, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.fieldofdreamsffk.giving.officelive.com.
