The Danville Public Library is offering two timely programs in January. A workshop called "Managing Stress in Your Life" will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16. The one-hour talk will describe current research to help understand and manage stress. Discussion will include information regarding the unique ways that people respond to stressful situations.
The following week a workshop will present "Achieving Healthy Weight Loss," beginning at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24. Dr. Nathalie Bera-Miller will help people keep their New Year's resolutions, discussing the key ingredients of achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.
