Farmers market open July 3, not July 4
Due to the annual Fourth of July Parade and other local activities, the Saturday Danville Farmers Market will be open Friday, July 3 instead of Saturday, July 4. It will be held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the same locations, the town parking lot behind the Museum of the San Ramon Valley on Railroad Avenue at Prospect.
"There will be great fun, live music and the best produce available," said market manager Max Timms. More than two dozen California farmers and other food producers are expected to be selling their goods in the market on July 3, plus there will also be a patriotic flag giveaway.
