The "Chinese Joan of Arc" Qiu Jin (1875-1907) was a radical women's rights activist who became the first female martyr for China's 1911 revolution. The event is from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 14 at San Ramon Library (100 Montgomery St.). Qiu Jin is celebrated as a national heroine in China today. Free screening and filmmakers Q-and-A.
