Continued public hearing on draft 2030 General Plan held tonight at 7:30

 | The Danville Planning Commission will continue its series of public hearings on the the draft 2030 General Plan, including the draft sustainability action plan (SAP) and final environmental impact report tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the community center (420 Front Street).
At this public hearing, the Planning Commission will consider Draft Planning Commission Resolution No. 2013-01, which would forward a recommendation that the Town Council certify the Final EIR, including the October 2012 public review draft EIR and the February 2013 final EIR.
Commissioners will also review Draft Planning Commission Resolution No. 2013-02, which would forward a recommendation that the Danville Town Council approve the SAP. Draft Planning Commission Resolution No. 2013-03 would forward a recommendation that the Council approve the 2030 Plan, inclusive of the 2030 Plan Addendum reviewed by the Planning Commission at tonight's meeting.
The EIR provides a programmatic review of the potential environmental impacts that could arise from the adoption and implementation of the Draft 2030 Plan and the draft SAP. The public review period for the draft EIR ran through Dec. 5, 2012. The Responses to Comment document, which responds to verbal and written testimony received on the Draft EIR during the public review period, has been prepared and scheduled to be considered at this public hearing.Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition?
