Rakestraw hosts author of Japanese internment novel on Thursday

Rakestraw Books (550 Hartz Ave., Danville) will host novelist Sophie Littlefield at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28. She will read and sign her new book, "Garden of Stones" about a Japanese-American mother and daughter rounded up and forced to live at the Manzanar prison camp after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
