Meet the Valley's founding families

| The Museum of the San Ramon Valley features a new exhibit, on now through April 20, that focuses on early families in the Valley. "What's in a Name, Tracing Our Valley's Early Families" will feature ledgers, scrapbooks, farm diaries and minute books from the early 20th century, as well as actual farm equipment, branding irons, a ukulele and an antique family desk and sewing machine. Museum of San Ramon Valley is located at 205 Railroad Avenue in Danville and is open Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. Call 837-3750 or visit www.museumsrv.org for details.
