Learn to foster teen independence at mom's night

San Ramon Valley High School (501 Danville Blvd., Danville) will host "Mom's Night: Fostering Independence During the Teen Years," from 7-8:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17. Come to the Career Center and hear College and Career Specialist Candy Jewett provide practical information and tools to help moms practice the art of letting go. Refreshments will be served.
