Hospice of the East Bay invites the public to participate in its 26th annual Tree of Lights ceremonies, held at several locations in the San Ramon Valley. Each light on every tree is symbolic of a life and will shine in honor or memory of a beloved friend or family member. Lighting ceremonies include music, poetry, remembrances by family members and friends of Hospice.
The Blackhawk tree lighting will be held on Friday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. at Blackhawk Road at Blackhawk Drive. The Alamo tree will be lit on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 12:15 p.m. at the Alamo Women's Club
(1401 Danville Blvd.) and the Danville/San Ramon ceremony will be held on Friday, Dec. 14 at 5:30 p.m. in front of the town meeting hall (201 Front St., Danville); a reception will follow. Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
