Athena is a stunning cat with a confident personality. She walks into new situations with her head -- and her tail -- held high; this is one girl who knows who she is and is ready to take on the world. Although she's got strong opinions, she loves to be petted and rolls over to ask for attention. She purrs readily and isn't shy about picking out her favorite people.

She's done fine in a multi-cat foster home where her housemates are submissive and are OK with letting her be the "gal in charge." Athena has not been exposed to dogs while in foster, so volunteers at Tri-Valley Animal Rescue don't know how she would feel about them. A home where she could be the only pampered pet princess in residence would be her ideal.

Athena has been spayed, microchipped for identification, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies) and treated to prevent worms and fleas.
