Attend a networking event on marketing shortcuts

The Gardens at Heather Farms (1540 Marchbanks Dr., Walnut Creek) will host EARN, which will present author Patrick Schwerdtfeger, of "Marketing Shortcuts for the Self-Employed." The event is on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6-9 p.m. and Schwerdtfeger will describe the effective use of the Internet. For details, visit http://euccc.org. A $10 donation is requested.
