Danville woman busted for felony shoplifting at Stoneridge mall
Also charged with paraphernalia possession

Bookmark and Share
A Danville woman was arrested for felony shoplifting and paraphernalia possession in a bust on Oct. 8 at Stoneridge Shopping Center.

Lisa Jeanne Miller, 37, was arrested at JC Penny in the 1500 block of Stoneridge Mall Road for the theft of $30 jeans, a $30 T-shirt and a $24 shirt.

Miller was initially recognized as a "habitual returner" when trying to return a comforter.

Later the same day she was spotted concealing items in her purse and on herself. When Miller was being placed under arrest, she turned over to police a piece of aluminum foil she said she used to smoke Norco pills, which contain hydrocodone, a narcotic.

Police also found wire cutters and pliers in Miller's purse along with an Arizona drivers license in the name of another person.

All she need is a "Free" Obamaphone! GIVE her "free" stuff then she don't need to steal! Problem solved.

Stealing $84 worth of merchandise is now a felony? Ha ha. I don’t think so. Must be more to this story.

The real question is this: if you're going to steal, why do it at JC Penny's when Nordstrom is just down the isle? Bad taste and a criminal !
