Big-rig crash slows traffic on Highway 24
|
An overturned big-rig snarled traffic on westbound state Highway 24 in Walnut Creek Monday afternoon, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.
The big-rig jackknifed and overturned at about 1:05 p.m., blocking three westbound lanes near Interstate Highway 680, Officer Scott Cakebread said.
A Sig-alert was issued at 1:25 p.m., Cakebread said.
The big-rig was moved to the shoulder and lanes reopened at about 2:20 p.m.— Bay City News Service Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
