Never tasted a prickly pear or dragon fruit? Then you're in for an exotic treat at The Ruth Bancroft Garden (1552 Bancroft Road, Walnut Creek) on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10-11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required and participants must purchase garden admission for the day ($8-$18), plus $8 for this special tasting tour.
