The monthly morning with the mayor program will return Sept. 7 after a month-long hiatus. Held on the first Friday of each month at Father Nature's (172 E. Prospect Ave.), Mayor Newell Arnerich and other town officials meet with residents to discuss issues and concerns.

While previous meetings have focused on a particular topic, September's breakfast will be more of an open forum.

"We're trying out not having a topic, instead allowing our mayor to spend more time to talk about what's going on and what's coming," said Nat Rojanasathira, assistant to the town manager.

Morning with the Mayor takes place from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Those unable to attend can view a recording of the meeting online at the [www.danville.ca.gov town website.
