San Ramon boys lacrosse wins NCS title

| San Ramon Valley boys lacrosse team fought all the way to the top this season, beating De La Salle, 5-4, in the North Coast Section championship game Friday night at Dublin High School.
The Wolves earned a bye in the first NCS round, thanks to their 17-3 record and leading the East Bay Athletic League.
In the second round May 18, San Ramon defeated Acalanes, 13-8, then went on to prevail against Monte Vista, 12-6, on May 23.
Enthusiastic San Ramon Valley fans turned out at Dublin High on Friday to cheer on the lacrosse team, and to celebrate winning the Division Title.
Monte Vista girls lacrosse also made it to the NCS finals, defeating Davis, 15-12, before falling to Amador Valley, 13-12. Amador played in the finals against Carondelet, which won the division title, 21-12.
