Mayor's Morning welcomes all this Friday

Mayor Candace Andersen is holding her monthly Mayor's Morning on Friday, Jan. 4, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Father Nature's restaurant on Prospect Avenue. She will use this informal gathering on the first Friday of each month to talk about new town projects, plus it is an opportunity for residents to share their concerns. Everyone is welcome to the free get-together.

The Town of Danville will reopen its offices Wednesday after its annual year-end furlough Dec. 21-Jan. 2. The Police Department is running its normal patrol, response and enforcement operations. Building inspection services were still provided Dec. 27-29. Park restroom facilities stayed open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily, with the exception of Dec. 25.

Alamo Region Neighbors,

Mayor Andersen has kindly replied with an invitation for Alamo Region neighborhood representatives to attend this Friday Morning Coffee and ask questions about the benefits of incorporation to Danville neighborhoods. It would be appropriate, as part of those questions, to ask about the issues between the city (town) government and individual neighborhoods and how they are resolved.

I would suggest Alamo Region send 2-3 neighborhood representatives from neighborhoods currently located in Danville.
