Danville makes it big -- in 'Penthouse' magazine

Who woulda thunk? Danville has made it big yet again, and this time Robin Williams isn't involved.

The Danville Express received a tip that Penthouse magazine, the infamous and formerly hardcore pornographic men's magazine, featured the town's Operation Welcome Home tradition in its "Warrior Wire" section.

"Never thought I'd make 'Penthouse,'" said Councilmember Mike Doyle, who was mentioned in the article by Peter Laufer.

The Danville Express has posted the full text of the article below, as searching through the Penthouse website is definitely not suitable for work.

CHORUS:

My blood runs cold

My memory has just been sold

Our Councilman's the centerfold

Mike Doyle is the centerfold

(Repeat)

Congrats, Mike -- watch out for those staples. Please pass the eyewash (And kudos on the OWH program).
