Internships avaiable to work in Rep. McNerney's offices
|
| Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-11) is accepting applications for internship positions available in his Stockton, Pleasanton and Washington, D.C. offices. These internships are designed to engage students who are interested in civics and government and want hands-on experience in a congressional office. College and post-graduate students are eligible to apply. Applications from high school students are considered on a case-by-case basis for internships in the Stockton and Pleasanton offices. All internship positions are unpaid and the office will work with colleges to award school credit for the internships. To apply, send your cover letter and resume by mail to Attn: Staff Assistant, 5776 Stoneridge Mall Rd., #175, Pleasanton, CA 94588; or fax (737-0734). Mail delivery to D.C. is delayed due to security, so applicants are encouraged to fax a cover letter and resume; attention to Staff Assistant: (202) 225-4060. — Amory Gutierrez Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition?
