Danville All-Stars take Northern California Division 2 Championship
Repeat championship for 10- and 11-year-olds

| After losing to the same team Friday, the Danville Little League All-Stars came from behind to defeat Scotts Valley and capture the Northern California Championship, the top honors in the league for 10- and 11-year-olds.
Danville rebounded from a 9-6 defeat Friday to a 12-1 win Saturday, with 10 of the 12 runs coming in the first inning, capped with a grand slam by Connor Redmond and a three-run homer by Darroch Koel.
Koel also pitched four innings, giving up just one hit and one run.
The game ended on a 5-4-3 double play with third baseman Nick Venezia throwing to second baseman Ryan Bowman who then relayed to Chris Lonestar on first.
