| Vista Grande Elementary School held an assembly Friday to commemorate the receipt of the California Distinguished School Award, as well as honor five retiring teachers. Following the musical assembly, teachers were treated to a limo ride and lunch.
The retiring teachers include Barbara Manley, third grade; Marsha Beeler, first grade; Regina Sheridan, fifth grade; Sandy Madewell, third grade; and Bonnie Kohleriter, science teacher.
