| Friday night is the big cross-town rivalry on the gridiron as the San Ramon Valley Wolves welcome the Monte Vista Mustangs to their stadium. It's the final game of the season, with JVs starting at 4:30 p.m. and varsity kicking off at 7 p.m.
Arrive early - last year approximately 8,000 people attended the game, held at Monte Vista.
The Wolves won last year, 26-7. The year before that, fans expected SRVHS quarterback Joe Southwick to lead a rout of the Mustangs, but instead the Monte Vista team come out on top, 20-14.
"Monte Vista comes to SRV with its 'high flying' Offense led by 'highly Touted' Senior QB - Brett Nottingham," reads the SRVHS Web site. "The East Bay's Best Offense is averaging over 50 points in its last two contests. Look for the Wolves Defense to be challenged through the air."
Both teams have 6-3 records in the East Bay Athletic League.

Go Wolves!
