Police investigating death on Linda Mesa

Bookmark and Share
The Danville Police Department is conducting a death investigation after they discovered that a man, 69, had died in his home on Linda Mesa Avenue.

Police Officers were called to a home on the 200 block of Linda Mesa at about 12:08 p.m. Wednesday for a welfare check on an elderly couple. The caller stated he had not heard from his 65-year-old aunt and 69-year-old uncle since the day before, and that that was unusual.

Officers entered the residence and found a 69-year-old man who was deceased. A 65-year-old woman was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment. She told police that her husband had a medical condition.

Their names are not being released at this time.

Detectives are conducting interviews and inquiries to determine what happened. An autopsy is scheduled for today. Results from toxicology tests could take up to six weeks.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Danville Police Department at 314-3410.
