My wife and I have tried the Peasant's Courtyard and the food quality was mediocre at best! Menu selections are overpriced. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate the place a 2 1/2! While I wish them the best, we won't return. Haven't yet found a place that can match the original Courtyard. Bring back the old Courtyard!

My wife and I also tried the new Peasant Courtyard - what a disappointment. Food was just so-so and very expensive. We ate lunch there and had a sandwich, salad and 2 drinks and walked out for $40 !!! I sure do miss the original Courtyard.

I do not plan on returning.

Having been a long long time Courtyard customer, I was appalled at the way the former owner, Barbara, was treated by the landlord, Robert Burgess. What a shame for her to lose her business and for us to lose such a fantasic restaurant and all the great staff that worked there. I will not frequent the new courtyard because I can't stand to put any money in Burgess's pocket. I suggest everyone find out the true story on the closing and vote with their feet.

I agree that the new restaurant is not as nice as the old and the food is ok and terribly overpriced. Why is it that these landlords are so greedy that they don't appreciate the good tenants that they have?

The original Courtyard was one of my favorite lunch restaurants. What a disappointment the new Courtyard is. The menu is weak, as many of my favorite Courtyard dishes are no longer offered.

I do not plan to return soon.

MR. LUCKY'S IN PLEASANT HILL IS A "PLEASANT" PLACE TO DINE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER. THE SOUND OF A WATERFALL AND THE FLOWING BROOK AND SHADY TREES MAKE THE PATIO A CHARMING SPOT TO RELAX AND ENJOY SOME GOOD FOOD AT A DECENT PRICE.
